If acting on it means understanding it and changing the way it is treated going forward, then yes. If it means challenging people whose knee jerk reaction is to scream insults and obscenities to someone who asks the questions ‘how and why’ this could happen or if 15 psychotropic drugs could have contributed, then yes also.

@defense_diaries Bob, any thoughts about under reported statistics of mother child shmurder-shuicides given the mom has died so no trial therefore they’ve gone unclassified and uncounted? Perhaps psychotropics involved?

This is a fine line argument and a convenient excuse for Christian’s to behave badly and in a haughty matter. The fact that sin will always exist until Christ is not an excuse to perpetuate hate. The vitriol I’m seeing is coming from the community who profess to be Jesus followers but who are repelling the very hearts and souls they are charged to recruit. Couch it in whatever piety you choose but it’s hate nonetheless on a level with the Pharisees. God gave us brains and hearts to use in moving beyond our own prejudices and love our fellow man. Believing that psychotropic drugs can change one’s brains in ways we’ve yet to understand doesn’t make one evil.

@defense_diaries Bob, how hard would it be to get statistics on how many shmurder-shuicides occur under similar situations to Lindsay’s? If the mother actually dies, there’d be limited reporting on it, correct? It might not even be categorized as postpartum.

I wonder how many mother child shmurder-shuicides occur that we never hear about because there’s no trial given that the mother died. So do you really know this as a fact? Could there be thousands of cases of drug aggravated postpartum psychosis that go uncalculated or unrecognized?

@FormanLaw1 I very much respect your evolution on this. It all boils down to what would make an exemplary human by all measures suddenly become homicidal after psychotropics, insomnia and begging for help? Very few ki**ers fit that bio, so no worries about the precedent.

@defense_diaries @NancyMace Nancy never responded how much she knows. I suspect this her knee jerk reaction. It’s at least probable that this never would have happened had LC had the appropriate treatment and that the 15 drugs contributed. Isn’t it crucial to study this regardless of the verdict?

@wake_up_girl_3 I’ve been thinking along the same lines. I feel far more compassion for that entire family and what they’ve been through than I do for any of these people with such deep seated hate.
