Now DNC Chairman Ken Martin is bringing in outside fundraising help because, in his own words, the party needs more resources. The DNC should be stockpiling cash for the 2028 presidential race. Instead, it's trying to climb out of a financial hole.

What does that tell you about donor enthusiasm heading into the midterms?

Ben Shapiro: Yes. One hundred percent. If merit is dismissed as an outgrowth of white supremacy, lowering standards becomes the logical next step.
