We were 6-6 in Lovie Smith’s final year as Head Coach when Kwon got injured and missed the last 4 games. We went 0-4 in that time and sent the org’s trajectory back as this was Winston’s BEST year as a NFL QB!

@Bucs_Barrett Not sure. But I think @jasonrlicht is doing the right things. Ownership have human emotions too. Words can hurt if spoken. Baker being Baker. That’s why we love Baker. There’s a deal still exists. Bowles needs to do his part too. Super Bowls are a team achievement.

@PewterReport My thoughts exactly! Captain “Prick” (allow me some levity here as @jasonrlicht nailed this word for Baker years ago) has exaggerated this “far” apart narrative. There’s a middle ground there for both sides. I’d pitch a “prick” addendum to ownership if I was Mr Jason lol

@MarkFStrickland @gregauman Exactly! Words matter and he’s coming off as a “prick” (word used long ago by @jasonrlicht lol)… Seem to be close enough to a middle ground in negotiations where both sides can be happy. Being “far” apart as stated by Baker, sounds exaggerated to put it nicely.

@gregauman Based on this info, the negotiations seem to be at a point where it belongs. If they keep talks open, there appears to be a middle ground they both should be happy. Just don’t understand Captain Prick’s exaggeration of being “far” apart. Ridiculous thing to say.
