3. Short term, every MLS club should have a European academy partnership, like LAFC have with Bayern or NYCFC have with city. Would love to more PL clubs. US talent pool is massive, development sucks. We need more club eyeballs on young kids. It’s a win win for US and Europe.

2. Long term MLS needs to be financially competitive and get on the global market. The owners have the $. The salary cap is what’s killing the domestic league. We need prime stars not last dance stars (Messi might be the one exception to that, but he’s the exception not the rule)

Nearly every domestic European league has an appeal process for red card suspensions (for 30+ game seasons). Why doesn’t FIFA have this for an 8 game tournament, where the implications of a suspension are orders of magnitude higher? #fifa #worldcup #usmnt

The truth is that European football fans have always been arrogant toward the U.S. They hated US Soccer before, and anything negative around the us will simply be justification for more hatred

But one lie I certainly believed was that US soccer was finally getting some respect on the global stage. But European fans (especially the ones on social media) are truly some of the most insufferable people on the planet. They’ve never respected us, and they never will.

After the #usabih game, I joked to my wife “Trumps gonna get on the phone with Gianni”. I was fired up, but I didn’t WANT it to actually happen. At this point I would rather have the adversity of the red card than the stigma of its suspension. I want to be proud, win or lose.

@Delta no I just wanted to point out a recurring problem happening at LAX. At lst 50% of my delta flts into LAX r delayed post-landing.

@Delta this is the 6th time this has happened to me at LAX. Get term 2 & 3 up and running before you lose customers in LA.
