The #pastsemester has been one of our greatest successes.🏆
We want to thank everybody involved or supporting this project for their effort and help.
The Student Network for Open Science has become what it is today because of you. 🫶
Great session where we were lucky to hear a range of perspectives on the challenges of contemporary peer review – including some valuable contributions from early-career researchers in the audience (🙌 @studentNOS). #APE2024

We did it! 🎊
Almost exactly 3 yrs ago, we met for the first time to realize the idea of a student journal. After the successful foundation, many panel discussions on #OpenScience, the organization of 4 peer review crash courses so far and a rebranding to @studentNOS, 1/2
Our new series on the basics of classic INFORMATION THEORY is out @be_medicine 💫👾
We mostly went through the first 12 p. of C. Shannon's AMTC and prived coding examples in R.

Thanks to @bayesianboy for the nice midjourney images. 🤘
Apart from info. theory, we also finished part IV and V of our series on inf. stats: PMF, PDF, CDF of a unif. and (stand.) norm. distr., as well as the z-/t-test for diff. in means and for lin. reg. models. @be_medicine 👾💫

Info. Theory V is out! 👾💫Tutorial on some very basic math. concepts behind #activeinference, such as Jensen's inequality, variational method, inner energy and free energy in physics... Incl. code in R! @be_medicine

Can we map the entire research environment in less than 3 hours to figure out how to foster #OpenScience?
Of course not, but it is just enough time to start some exciting discussions on the #FutureOfScience. Thanks to all the great participants at our workshop @ZB_MED#osf2023de!
