“...was loudly hyperventilating over Section 224 of the defense bill, the brazen attempt to weld the U.S. and Israeli militaries into a single high-tech fighting force, a far more consequential power shift was quietly advancing through the Senate with almost no resistance.”

Why have these 13 members of Congress not been arrested yet for violating 18 U.S.C. § 219 by acting as Israel’s Foreign Agent?
Why are they not looking to spend the rest of their lives in prison and NEVER getting to spend a dime outside a prison commissary?
Israel & its lobby are attempting a complete takeover of our gov thru a myriad of bills.
One bill virtually no one is talking about is @SenTomCotton’s Section 622, of the FY27 Intelligence Authorization Act which locks US into permanent unbreakable intel entanglement with Israel
“If this is what “America First” looks like in practice, the fine print exposes something much closer to Israel First, hard-coded into U.S. statute, insulated from democratic accountability, and engineered to survive any future attempt at course correction.”

Israeli minister calls for kidnapping of Lebanese women and children to break Hezbollah morale
——
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir urged the political-security cabinet to abduct and imprison Lebanese women and children as a psychological warfare tactic against Hezbollah, according to a closed-door leak published by Hebrew news outlet Walla.
During a high-level ministerial meeting reviewing expanded military calculations, Ben-Gvir demanded that Tel Aviv abandon conventional strategy and explicitly target the social and familial core of the Lebanese resistance network.
"We must think outside the box regarding Hezbollah," Ben-Gvir asserted to his fellow cabinet members, according to the report. The Israeli minister added that alongside occupying southern territory and intensifying lethal strikes on personnel, Israeli forces should actively round up civilians.
"We should arrest their women and children and take them to prison; this is what hurts them the most," he stated.

Using phrasing like "Iran-backed Houthi rebels" — but not "US-backed Zionist settlers" when describing Israel is the hallmark of a biased, imperialist rag.
Forget politics — just from a linguistic viewpoint, what a bloody mouthful. Who wants to read that nonsense?
After the Al-Ahli Hospital massacre in Gaza, The New York Times and CNN adopted a reporting standard they seem to apply only to Israel: they avoid directly blaming Israel for bombings unless the IDF explicitly confirms responsibility, says media analyst Adam Johnson.
These findings are documented in Johnson's latest book, How to Sell a Genocide.
Drawing on extensive original, data-driven analysis, Johnson examines how propaganda operates through selective empathy, strategic omissions, overt racism, repetition of state-approved falsehoods, the demonization of humanitarian workers, and misleading coverage of campus protests.
Jadaliyya co-Editor @MouinRabbani is interviewing Adam Johnson about the book as part of Connections Podcast!

In the same breath, Israel says it’s unfair for Iran to defend Hezbollah because those are different conflicts — and then takes out its anger on humanitarian orgs delivering aid to Gaza
Iran is bombing Israel. Tehran warned Tel Aviv: bomb Beirut and face the consequences. Iran will not let Israel mask its failures in southern Lebanon by targeting Beirut. Lebanon is not alone; the days of unpunished rabid Israeli aggression are over
