@TwigsProject@TenebrisVia@teamtreesofficl Thatโs awesome to hear! More trees for our planet ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ They have a page on their website about crypto donations, it was super easy. Just Google โteam trees cryptoโ
I'm SUPER stoked to have made my first tree! This one was an absolute doozy, it's definitely the hardest #genart thing I've done so far. ๐ณ ๐ณ๐๐ซ๐ณ ๐ณ
It's for a collab project with @TenebrisVia (who does STUNNING work), so keep your eyes on our accounts to see what's coming!
@TenebrisVia Yep, it is! Thatโs what helps it be less symmetrical: rotating the branches around the z-axis. I should upload a video of the tree rotating.
@TenebrisVia Also, you mentioned โper tokenโ: itโs more likely that itโs per project - but maybe thatโs what you meant. With Art Blocks, each mint token contains a random seed and a project ID. The project can then be queried for the corresponding code when a particular mint is displayed.
@TenebrisVia Iโm not sure how secondary markets then show live views of the mints, unless they are coordinating support with Art Blocks (which I believe Open Sea does).
I get the impression that with fxhash you do actually upload your dependencies. Thatโs a lot of copes of p5js!
@TenebrisVia All this does make me think though that version numbers of JS and certainly p5js (if itโs only reference and not stored) should be stored on the blockchain along with the other NFT data.
@TenebrisVia And if JS decides to make breaking changes at some point, maybe people who want to display old NFTs will use polyfills - these are generally used to make new features of JS work in browsers that donโt yet support them, but perhaps they could be used to go the other direction!
