@ahujaditi @GanKanchi The guy in the video is from Chhattisgarh. The house owner says how difficult it is to get someone to pluck the coconuts and now these guys are offering this service. It shows Kerala as a place where you don’t have Malayalis to do labour work

In most Hindu families genx( 70’s-80’s) started eating beef It was never a staple in Hindu homes, fish chicken mutton was the norm. Beef was popularised by influencing youth

@saaiyer I grew up in Kerala in the 80s as a Hindu girl in a Christian school as my parents considered a Modern education a progressive step .this is my lived experience. I have eaten beef while in college thinking it was the cool thing to do but never was Pork even part of the scene
