@LBC@lewis_goodall Point well made. Our private education system that plays a big part in helping us remain relevant in China. They send their children here for that reason yet this government is actively trying to shrink it through tax.
@bphillipsonMP Power, influence and resources, as if the government lacks these. Is this "private sector bad public sector good" narrative is counterproductive. Collaborate with your language and actions rather than attack might yield results.

@IsabelPat1886 I suspect the model is how rateable value is calculated for business rates. I have a business premises that the government calculates has a rateable value 25% over what any of the identical units actually rent for.
@lib_thinks I agree. I'm no Tory and love a tough interview but this was not a line of questioning with substance it was following on from the Labour line and extracted nothing from KB who I think came of looking better.

@paullewismoney@womaninblue1050 I became self-employed at 24 in 2000. I became an employee of my own limited company 10 years ago. They are comparable in only the most superficial ways.
