I find it helps to develop an interest in things. Visit museums, hit up the library and discover-browse. Read widely. Learn new languages, new words. Watch old films. The world is a wondrous place but the sense of wonder is a muscle that must be cultivated like any other.
You journalists, vultures, stop capitalising on people’s tragedies. Stop recording people breaking down. And you conspiracy theorists, this is not about you. Lives have been lost. Please seek deep inside maybe you’ll find traces of empathy and humanity.
