Danish Neo-Classical sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen was born #OnThisDay in 1770. Here's a glimpse inside @ThmMuseum - the first public museum building in #Denmark - looking more or less as it did when it opened over 150 years ago.
François Auguste René Rodin died #OnThisDay in 1917 at his villa in Meudon, Île-de-France, on the outskirts of Paris. He is buried there with a cast of The Thinker next to his tomb. @MuseeRodinParis
