@lemire @vchuravy Agreed - back when I was using C++03, it *was* (for me) a necessary dependency, but since then? Nope - and I really don’t miss the pain of working out how to build the set of library variants I needed - I use MSVC, which is another story of a PITA to install.

@nodj74 @DudeWhoCode Real-time doesn’t imply bug free, but ‘safety critical’ should mean an awful lot more effort’s been used to eliminate bugs, whether through more extensive testing or use of formal methods for specification and/or testing.

But yes, sufficiently exploring failure cases is *hard*.

@lefticus I’ve been using a modified version of CPM for a while mainly because of CPM’s simplicity. Modified to facilitate easier vendoring because that’s what my situation needs…

@siracusa I get similar with my 13 Pro Max - but shooting into the sun is pretty much guaranteed to give you some lens flare (unless it’s still mostly below the horizon!)

@bodil Bobby has the meaty treaty ones, but normal pills (paracetamol) go down well embedded in a ½ cocktail sausage, as they did with our last dog, Mollie, who was on daily epilepsy meds, so had plenty of practise!

Co-routines are still just state machines captured in a struct that captures local state and knows how to thread resumptions together.

Maybe it’s just they weren’t tricky until the C++ committee finished with them?
