Linda Ross was denied parole for the 8th time. She is a criminalized survivor who has now been in prison for 34 years for defending her life. The #MS5 have now been denied parole 50 times in total.
As we continue to fight for her release, we want Ms. Evelyn (affectionately known as "Mamma E") to feel loved and supported on her special day.

On February 1, Ms. Evelyn Smith of the Mississippi Five will turn 83 years old. She has been incarcerated 33 years and denied parole 7 times. She will not be up for parole again until 2027.
