Literally been trying to figure out whether or not to break my Duolingo streak D-1565. I’ve lowkey been going through my freezes way too often lately. I’m dedicated to the streak. However, what I learn within those few mins, goes straight through my ear and out the other end 😭

Please break your language learning app streak 📵 Consistency doesn't mean “just consistently opening the app." It means consistently learning. If nothing went into your head that day, you didn’t really learn. Protecting the streak can feel nice and relieving, but it’s not the same thing as consistency.

So it's okay to skip a day! Don’t be too obsessed with the streak number.

@kasiastudies Yes! I think so too, even if it’s 1-2 sessions. You’ll have some kind of guidance for what you were able to share then. As someone who is also self aware about certain parts of themselves, it can be both a great and an overwhelming trait. 🥲
