WOOHOO - this is my first time ever making a Mac app, and I'm super happy with how it turned out 😊
wayyy back when I was a kid, the apps that I would try out incessantly on our family iMac were productivity apps. to-do list apps, calendar apps, notes apps... for some reason, I was obsessed with productivity apps on Mac
that obsession has never really gone away (nerd!), and has culminated in 2+ years of work to finally bring my very own to-do list app, Stuff, to the Mac
complete with lots and lots of keyboard shortcuts, listen mode (speak your tasks into existence!), windowing support, satisfying sound effects, Quick Add, and tons more
give it a shot (link below) and let me know what you think! many more updates to come. but this is a huge moment for me!
Unfortunately, after a week of back/forth with the App Store, @stuff_app_ for Mac is unlikely to release today
On the bright side Version 2.3 on iOS did launch!
I’ll post updates here when Mac finally becomes available….🤞
new version in review for Stuff!
- super reliable notifications
- multi-select everything (tasks, headings, lists, spaces...)
- quicker, snappier, more fun to tap around
probably last update before the release of the Mac app in about 4 weeks...
checkout some highlights of the new and upcoming big update to Stuff! (@stuff_app_)
now with:
- way more powerful filtering / sorting options
- dragging and dropping to schedule tasks on Upcoming - drag emails into Stuff to quickly open them again at a later point - full support for undo/redo
- multi-window support on iPad
- way, way, way better performance and loading of hundreds+ tasks

Good news! Things are really coming together on Stuff Version 2.2.9 and, as I mentioned above, it’s turning out to be one of the biggest (if not the biggest) update in Stuff history. Just tons and tons of *stuff* in this update.
I anticipate this will release next week!
This won’t include the Mac app quite yet, but it has tons of things in the woodwork that have gotten us leaps and bounds closer to a really great Mac app. I anticipate that to launch sometime in the next 4ish months.
See you next week! (@stuff_app_)
@hipstaCoder A known issue is that notifications may be rough right now especially when working cross-device. The plan is to build a significantly more reliable system with the upcoming Mac app 😊
