George Miller never got enough credit on the fairly batshit formal experimentation with framerate and speed ramping on FURY ROAD. Something like half the movie isn't in 24fps and the rest varies shot to shot, creating a visual language and rhythm unlike basically any other movie.
@neonrated Oldboy's hallway hammer fight is one of the best action scenes in cinema. Wish the rest of the vengeance trilogy was included in the rerelease.
