@Schnitzel1972 @FreddieBailey96 Why shouldn’t we have a say in how we’re governed? Especially on membership to an institution that has change so drastically since we voted to join and has such an influence over our lives. It’s right and fair. We live in a democracy.

My theory is, many of these still haven’t accepted the result of the EU referendum and think that somehow independence will allow them to rejoin the EU. Many of them Labour voters too I’d imagine.

@Schnitzel1972 @FreddieBailey96 Yes I do. I’m not denying there’s increasing support for independence under Tory watch. I’m suggesting that they’re a pro union party, and that I haven’t seen any deliberate actions that might jeopardise it.

@FreddieBailey96 The latest poll shows support for Scottish independence has collapsed in the wake of the Salmond enquiry. There will always be a level of support for independence, but the tories certainly aren’t actively aiming to break up the UK.
