@VKCsh Same, my wife can't process how I don't have full pictures/people talking through scenarios, or able to picture rooms/decor changing , I can't work out how she can cope with it!
The next post in my home infra overhaul series!
This details how to use @giteaio and @droneio together to run a self-hosted Git and Continuous Integration system

A new one for the flock!
A HeliDox/Corne V3, with Cherry MX Browns. Took a couple of attempts, with a broken PCB that needed replacing and half the parts rebuying, but it's sorted!
Getting back into the swing of this blogging thing!
This has some changes I needed to make to my #SaltStack environment, ready to start using it with CI (as well as simplifying how I use it).
Hopefully a few useful tips for people to pick up!

@pepoluan Yeah, there's definitely ways to achieve it with salt-ssh, but I'm also using Ansible to manage machines without agents and other apps.
I view Ansible more as a source of truth for what exists on my network, and Salt to for managing what's deployed on it.
It's been a while since my last blog post.
I am writing about my overhaul of managing my home and personal infrastructure. Includes a few tips on how to speed up Ansible execution, and much more

@IronicBadger The idea of the result changing hours after leaves a sour taste in the mouth, but I think Masi either needs some other people to help or to be replaced.
The decisions this year from race direction have been mind boggling
@VKCsh I don't need to any longer, but VirtualBox for anything graphical, Hyper-V for anything I wanted performance from.
I found the graphical side lacking in Hyper-V for multi screens (possibly down to the RDP-style approach), but it was infinitely more performant for headless VMs
@jonobacon Were all the guitar and bass tones AxeFX? Think I might end up with one in the near future.
Hell of a lineup you've got in the band too! Maybe redo the Bad Voltage jingles a bit more metal'd up? ๐
@lizrice I would definitely be up for following them! I came from Python, then to Go, C is another step beyond at this point for me. Anything to make easier is more than welcome ๐
Been learning #eBPF recently. It's been very, very fun. Massive thank you to @lizrice and her tutorial videos, it gave me the confidence to learn C for the first time (after being a bit intimidated by it previously). Absolutely amazing videos!
I had a little bit of fun with @PulumiCorp, @Salt_Project_OS and @equinixmetal, creating a bare metal anycast setup using BGP (specifically #ExaBGP).
I also want to thank @rawkode for the inspiration with the Tinkerbell Testing infrastructure
