Dispensing Optician now Operations Analyst at #bootsopticians in my mid 50's and turning into a grumpy old man so my tweets reflect my own opinion only
@sarajcox When I worked in a store in the 80's a lady was regularly spotted walking down the High Street with a pack of raw bacon in her coat pocket, ripping rashers apart and eating them in the street. Disgusting but like an Attenborough documentary
@Jacamo So after assurance that the stock issue was now resolved I have reordered the black boots, and yet again tan delivered. No reply from Jacamo customer services
Very pleased (not) with the black shoes I ordered from @Jacamo that have arrived as brown...twice and their apparent reluctance to resolve other than me just ordering a third pair and hoping for the best
@StephenMcGann I find it scary that when we started watching it felt like historical drama, we are now one year from my birth year so it feels contemporary ๐คฃ. Still a brilliant show we never miss.
@daisy_haggard My late Nan who following a stroke only had the use of one hand once said I was making such a bad job of wrapping presents that she ended up doing them for me, I just had to stick the tape on. My wife now does them thank goodness
At last, after a covid reschedule or two, today is the day we get to see @IAmChrisRamsey , @fizzy0309 and I can't wait. Our first live event since 2019. No pressure Chris!
@MartinSLewis@richardosman Surely you mean every day this week not just tomorrow, don't let me think Richard misleads me into thinking each day is filmed separately
So ITV news are reporting on a family of 6 meeting up in a garden, which is allowed, and I'm pleased for them, but don't the reporter and cameraman make it 8 people then?
A week off work whilst in lockdown and although I don't often read books after spending all day on a PC, I decided to start reading #thethursdaymurderclub by @richardosman which was a Xmas present. Can't put it down (apart from to tweet about it clearly). A fantastic read
