Sunday lunch at Maes Tearoom, Caldbeck, followed up with apple and rhubarb crumble and custard won’t need to eat again until March at the earliest #stuffed
@karl1953howman Backs against the wall rugby, inevitable that a card will get shown with England on a roll
At least the ref is consistent, England get a warning and Itoje gets a yellow card seconds after coming on
@dash_beck2 I read that quickly as I was watching the rugby and following a thread about the game and I read it as: “longest bike ride ever without a pea”
Just punched the air and said “ way to go Tina”
In my defence alcohol was involved!!
@dash_beck2@LoveOfGates@phil_d13 😂 it all depends where you come from I guess as to what you call it
Back home a ginnel or a snicket is called a tenfoot and don’t get me started on bread cake, tea cake, barm cake debate!!
@faerymere Couldn’t agree more
The same goes to all the walkers and cyclists etc etc who can cart around full bottles of drinks but for some extraordinary reason when the bottles are empty they feel the need to just toss it anywhere
