@thebetz93 lol no not really. First they might already have their franchise guy.
I could start naming all the teams with their franchise QB but they haven’t won shit because of all the other holes on the team. You’re building ass backwards
@PghPennStateDad Exactly. Furthermore Kraft is the easy target in this but let’s at least be honest. Boosters alumni all pushed for this and because of the timing it blew up in their face. Gonna take a couple years to right the ship
@GregPickel No questions yet he’s playing with the deck stacked against him. Wasn’t hired til after signing day and the better portal players committed elsewhere. Then you had Penn state staff(ex or otherwise) poaching some players that could have helped this year. Ask again in 2 years
@24_mark1165605@MarkMaddenX No they were looking to trade him so essentially terminating him from their team. Different position doesn’t matter because both positions of high value but 1 was a backup who got more guaranteed money than the one who started was offered. Have another cup of coffee if need be
@Hoobito97 You think nfl corners that can make a difference are just walking around in the streets? There’s a reason you pay a good one if you have them. This isn’t getting solved during the season sorry
@24_mark1165605@MarkMaddenX You find out that HR was going to terminate you if they found a suitable replacement or paid an employee more then you but was part time would you start looking for another job. Steelers tried to trade him in the offseason and gave a backup more guaranteed money than offered him
@TriesHardState@PenguinsJesus So a contract goes both ways right. Steelers offered him a deal to play for THEM. Yet it’s reported they tried to trade him in the offseason. So who was breaching that contract? More then 1 way to look at it
@PenguinsJesus Not in the least. They paid a backup edge more than they offered their every down best corner . They under valued his worth and overpaid a backup edge.
@PittsburghSport Pretty simple really. A loose zone doesn’t work. Passes come out quick and pass rush is therefore nonexistent when a QB has DBs laying 10-15 yards away from his receivers
@WattsBurgh_90 Doesn’t sound like there was drama in the locker room. Drama in the media, drama on social media, drama with some fans all true. Steelers botched it and going to take a while to fix it.
@Blitz_Burgh The Steelers shopped him for a 1st round pick during the offseason. Most people that feel undervalued or feel like their company no longer needs/wants them they start looking for another job. As for having a contract in my mind the Steelers broke it as soon as they shopped him
