@toxifyxe 2024/25 BGT should be renamed as ‘Bumrah’ series. He was so charged up whole series, single handedly made it competitive. Always felt every ball he may take a ticket, thunderbolt after thunderbolt. Series for ages even though scorecard read 1-3.
@kkmohan73@RGVzoomin@VenkyMama The movie was way ahead of it's time. One of the best performances of Sridevi and Paresh Rawal....and also the director who lost his touch mid way through his journey.
@rafi4999 Remember watching him in 2010/11 Ashes series ( his 2nd series) , at Perth to a 7 off 37 , with his shuffling and unorthodox play. I thought he may not survive the series and may not be picked again. How wrong I was.
Here he survives a runout from the same innings.
@CricketopiaCom Clip is from inaugural match of WCC 1985.England was coming off a long tour of India winning both Test and ODIseries,Gatting himself getting a double hundred. But I guess they rather wanted to go home, losing all matches.Overall the team had a great 1985 winning Ashes in summer.
@bhogleharsha True, both are bold decisions with future in mind. Reminds me of Steve Waugh's stripping of captaincy in 2002 from ODI cricket. Here's down memory lane.

Ivan Lendl.
In between Johnn McEnroe -Jimmy Connors era and Pete Sampras-Andre Agassi era, there is a golden age of Men's Tennis ruled by 3 stalwarts between 1985 and 1990: Stefan Edberg, Ivan Lendl and Boris Becker. Among them Ivan Lendl stood at No.1 a staggering 270 weeks.
