PM, Software Eng, Designer, QA itu memang perlu melebur. Semua jadi Product Engineer, dengan spektrum penekanan skill yang berbeda.

Yang pasti, mereka harus bisa vibe code

1. PM => Instead of bikin detailed PRD, PM bikin prototype (code). Better karena bisa dirasakan dan diiterasikan sendiri oleh PM. Pun bisa dishare ke user/stakeholder untuk feedback

Sebagian prototype yang bagus, bisa langsung jadi PR dan dimerge tanpa ada improvement dari engineer.

2. Software Eng => sudah tidak lagi split FE/BE/DBA, kembali ke zaman dulu, Fullstack. Period.

3. Designer/UX => sama dengan PM, sampai bikin prototype. Atau tidak perlu lagi Figma dkk, langsung saja iterasi di prototype. Prototype bikinan Designer/UX ini most of the time lebih cakep

4. QA/Tester => ini role yang bisa banget diautomate, perlu melebur ke 3 role di atas

Semua in the end akan jadi Product Engineers. Dengan spektrum skill berbeda (walau kalau ada yang bisa jago di semuanya akan super bagus, i.e. bisa banget dapatin requirement, bikin UI yang ok, bikin solusi, hingga test dan deploy)

Even Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) - dalam scale yang relative kecil - itu IMO juga bisa melebur dengan Product Engineers. Duduk bareng user di lapangan, bisa langsung bikin prototype saat itu juga, diverify di situ juga, deploy di situ juga.

Di era sekarang, di era saat code itu super cheap, too much layers itu jadi bottleneck. Leburkan
