I just feel bad bc he probably never wants to bolus bc his mom is vocal about how she hates the smell. It’s hard enough being diabetic in general! I just want to take him in and tell him he can ALWAYS bolus around me and that it doesn’t stink and he shouldn’t be ashamed to bolus!

Guys I gotta vent. I know some diabetics hate the smell of insulin and that’s totally ok!!! Personally, even before I was diagnosed, insulin was such a comforting smell because it was always lingering on my dad. So much so, I literally put that in his obit!! 1/??
