@BBCWorld what language is this supposed to be? https://t.co/b9tmDpxSRV or is there some event I'm missing? I feel like I'm having a stroke trying to read it.
@vfsglobalcare I'm going nuts. Apparently you have taken over infant registration between Netherlands and South Africa. (Born Netherlands, South African parents) The embassy cancelled our appointment saying to contact vfs. But I can't find where. Am I missing something obvious?
@twofifteenam Might be an unpopular opinion, but any startup using java is already making a bad move. The language is pretty out dated, and hard to dev complex fast moving specs with. I wouldn't recommend rust to a start up, but I definitely wouldn't recommend java either.
@t3dotgg Agreed, when you come from a nix system, and have to use windows for some reason, it's rough. But win 11 is awful. I really tried to get used to it, even on my home gaming machine, I ended up rolling back to win 10, and it felt like a massive upgrade.
@jeremydmiller I would think at any point when creating a dependency, or worse a dependency expect to work in a chain, that even thinks about quietly scraping and sending data in any form elsewhere that it will likely not be received well. To then close source that as well makes it more fishy.
@bexsayswords You have been, and will continue to be, the example of a top quality community manager to me.
There have been some great times, and there have been some rough times. I can't picture anyone but you getting the community through.
Thank you, you've been amazing. And good luck!
@MrPeterLMorris That's because it's 3 monitors with less cable management, and seemless borders. You meant to use it like 3 monitors and turn your head to face each virtual monitor. It takes some getting used to. But really great when you used to it.
@davidfowl I've done it a few times in different projects. However the biggest lie with this pattern is it only allows switching if the usage is all code driven and not calling db routines. And if there is no usage of db/tool specific utilities and capabilities.
