Donald Trump-backed World Liberty Financial (@worldlibertyfi) $WLFI is reportedly close to securing a federal trust charter from the OCC.

The approval would allow the firm to issue and redeem its USD1 stablecoin under a single federal regulator. The charter could also reduce reliance on third party intermediaries.
