Today, the 21st of September 2022, the Junior Anthropologists and Sociologists of Silliman commemorates the 50th anniversary of the declaration that exacerbated the culture of impunity, corruption, and oppression in the Philippines.

We join the call to the Silliman Community and Filipino nation to fight against tyranny, to be critical of information and our direction, and to #NeverForget the victims who suffered and the experiences our country has fought and lived through 50 years ago.
