Sir Christopher Lee, while hospitalised, decided to watch 'The Lord of the Rings' because he wanted to show it to his nurses.

"I’ll explain how the movie was made", he said.

The idea was to spend some time in happy memories, passing on that happiness to those taking care of him.
After watching the film that night in 2015, Lee passed away from heart failure at the age of 93. 🪦

On his birthday, we remember Miguel Ferrer, who was in #StarTrek III: The Search for Spock as the exec officer on the USS Excelsior. Director Leonard Nimoy was a childhood hero, and Ferrer said being in the movie was one of the "great thrills" of his life.
