@jaimeb1987@Daniel_Rapaport When he made the turn yesterday, he was -12 and Fitzpatrick was -5. Inexplicable to me that he didn’t he didn’t even get close to a playoff. Was 1/2 favourite at that stage. 🤢
@jaimeb1987@Daniel_Rapaport He played the back 9 first on Thursday. Bogeyed 16, parred 17, birdied 18 to turn in 30. Rounds 2, 3 and 4 he played them in -1 each day.
@BenColeyGolf It is. My main qualm is that his poor swings have coincided with some of the most gettable holes on the course. Consistently missed the fairway on the par 5s. With the way he’s hit his irons and putted, -2 over the last 40 holes must be significantly below what would be expected
@dananders77@BenColeyGolf Brandt Snedeker is the "Class Act" in terms of seniority and career achievements, but over the last 100 events, Sungjae Im is the superior golfer by every statistical metric.
@BenColeyGolf If he finds the fairway off the tee, I think he takes it. Should’ve had it won already considering he hit -9 with four to play on Thursday
@SungjaeTracker Two terrible drives left on 10 and 11 which should be birdie holes and then bogeys from middle of the fairway on 12. Could easily be -13/-14
@joshpearson180 The PDC need to auto enrol every single player below Littler in the rankings into mandatory therapy sessions because to a man they all absolutely shit the bed when they face him. He doesn’t even need to play well anymore. Get Dr Steve Peters involved @OfficialPDC
@_WokeNonsenseFC@wadeydarts Ahh right, so averaging 89 is preferable to averaging 105 against Littler? Surely play your own game and make him earn it? If he averages 110, fair enough. You can’t lose with a 89 average in a major final and think that’s absolutely fine
@_WokeNonsenseFC@wadeydarts What on earth are you talking about? It’s exactly the point. You have more chance playing fluently and averaging 105 than trying to slow down your opponent, ruing your own fluency, and averaging 89. Surely that’s abundantly clear? Particularly given that he lost 🤯
@_WokeNonsenseFC@wadeydarts Well I think statistics would suggest he had more of a chance playing like he did in the semi and averaging 105 than attempting the mind games and averaging 89
