As I said to you in the room, the labour government did not give 28%. About 12% of that was given by the tories via DDRB (iirc), and stating it like this ignores the catastrophic pay erosion doctors have experienced (~50%).

In fact, doctors are still paid less than before the pandemic.

It is deeply disappointing that the state of negotiations that we left for the new RDC officers is not the one DHSC was willing to continue, instead watering down and weakening aspects that both sides had aligned on.

You have left resident doctors with no choice but to strike.
