@DrSelvarajah Struggling to get my head around how some folk think ‘migrants’ are not people, like any of us. My parents came from Sri Lanka in ‘76, as you say luckily no lorry/dingy. Both taught in the U.K. till they retired, both their kids are now NHS consultants. ‘Migrants’ matter

Well that was EPIC!! @GreenDay @wembleystadium absolutely smashed it!! 2 & a half hours of non stop amazing music, old and new!! 🤩 A night our family won't forget! 10yo said it was the best night of his life & 12 yo burst into tears at the start - 'happy tears mummy!!'

A patient on ward 19 @STSFTrust received bad news this week. Yesterday she had a lovely bath & Indian head massage from our amazing HCAs Demi & Sue.

Like all wards we're so stretched but even under these pressures our amazing healthcares go above & beyond for our patients. 🥰

Yesterdays GIM on call @STSFTrust was predictably challenging (read horrendous...) So much flu, pneumonia, older adults waiting in A&E for over 24hrs. 😞
So tough on everyone. Find it harder after each shift to wind down - knitting & family time on the beach today in order 😊

Lack of hot food available to staff after 11am @STSFTrust didn't make life any easier for us all 😞
Coffee shop not open either
The basics are even more important at the moment to make staff feel valued. I know there are colleagues working hard trying to get this sorted so 🤞🏽

The NHS is in a critical state. We need urgent action for sake of our staff & patients.
