For over a decade, I have passed by #PattandurAgraharaLake in our neighbourhood (Whitefield). It used to be one of the spots for birdwatching. Yes!
Today, the lake survives only on Google Maps. All the trees have been cut down and moved away in trucks. It’s just a barren land now and a compound wall came up in no time.
The other side of the lake is an even bigger story. No one knows whether it has been encroached upon or whether it is still a lake!!

Now Greece 🇬🇷
🚨BREAKING: Greece announced that it will close 60 mosques across the country and deport those who continue to illegally build Islamic religious spaces.
Greece is fighting against the Islamization of Europe.
Do you support it?
For the past 5–6 days muslims in india have been creating a nuisance in public places even at railway stations while carrying weapons in their hands yet no one is there to stop them.
But everyone has a problem with Hindus celebrating Ram Navami for just one day
SECULARISM💔
Our biggest worry is failed Monsoon2026. June 26th, and no rains even in the deep Malnad areas of Karnataka. If no recovery in the next one week, situation will be worse for all. Hope and pray that there will be good rains.
Bengaluru-based entrepreneurs Abhimanyu Rathi and Yogendra Panchal have solved one of India's biggest problems.
Indian farmers used to burn their crop leftovers after every harvest. Now a Bengaluru startup is paying farmers not to burn it.
The residue is heated in low-oxygen conditions and turns into biochar, a carbon-rich material that locks carbon underground instead of releasing it into the air.
This climate benefit is sold as carbon credits to companies. Farmers can earn Rs 30,000–45,000 extra every year from waste they used to throw away.
Over 200 farmers are already in the system. This can be a game changer for Delhi pollution.
