For year 2025-26 admission to 1st grade, age limit has been relaxed from 6 yrs to 5yrs 5months as on June 1st 2025. Applicable only for year 2025-26 admission.

From 2026-27 onwards, age limit is fixed as 6 years for 1st Grade as on June 1st of that academic year.

Be it road, hotels, parking - Madikeri doesn't have the infra to handle the influx.
It's not Fun for tourists to visit nor to locals when places are overwhelmed.
Sad state.
