Today, September 1, at around 10 PM, at Motilal Malad Metro Station, a man was allegedly harassing Hindu women passing through the area.

SAVE 12681 WDG-4D VIJAY!

India is about to lose a precious piece of its railway heritage.

12681 “Vijay”, the very first WDG-4D locomotive built for Indian Railways, is currently under the Eastern Railway’s Diesel Loco Shed, Andal (UDLD). This iconic dual-cab locomotive represents a major milestone in India’s locomotive technology and engineering journey.

But instead of being preserved after completing its service life, 12681 is reportedly slated for export. This isn’t just another locomotive. It is the first of its class, a piece of history that cannot be replaced once it leaves the country.

Indian Railways already has heritage parks and museums where 12681 can be preserved for future generations.

We urge the @RailMinIndia @AshwiniVaishnaw to intervene and save 12681 “Vijay” from export.
