Breeze spent around five to six years living on the streets, and since being rescued, his world has become so much smaller.
We are desperately appealing for a home that can work with him patiently, help him build his confidence, and gradually give him back some freedom.
Sadly, Breeze just won’t leave the kennel area, and he isn’t yet able to walk on a lead, so his world remains incredibly small.
Breeze is estimated to be around six or seven years old, possibly older, but his exact age doesn’t matter.
What matters is that he needs help 🙏🏻❤️
By sharing this post or offering him a safe place to call home, you could change his life. Please, help us give Breeze the chance he deserves ❤️
We're assisting the family of CJ to help him find a new home after his owner sadly passed away.
CJ is a 6.5 year old Lab cross Husky, he is very friendly, although slightly confused at the moment as he is missing his female owner.
CJ is house trained and walks well on the lead. He is neutered and registered with a vets.
We don't have a lot of information sadly.
He is eating dry food.
CJ is a calm dog. He hasn't lived with other animals,
When he has been out and about for walks he hasn't had any issues with other pets or children.
As we don't know how he is with young kids, we'd suggest a home with older kids of a teenage age instead.
To offer CJ a new home please email [email protected]
He was saved from a certain lifeterm because his father fell at the feet of Balasaheb Thackeray & sought his freedom.
Motherboard is talking about peace today.
Aak thoo.
Gilbert Strang, an MIT professor, taught the same linear algebra course for 62 years. When he delivered his final lecture in May 2023, students from around the world tuned in online to watch.
The course is MIT 18.06 Linear Algebra. Millions of machine learning engineers, data scientists, quants, and self-taught programmers learned the essential math behind AI from his clear, free video lectures, even though most never stepped foot on the MIT campus.
Strang joined the MIT faculty in 1962 and retired in 2023. When MIT launched OpenCourseWare in 2001–2002, he was one of the first to embrace it fully. While many professors hesitated, Strang saw it as an opportunity to share mathematics with everyone. He filmed his lectures and made them freely available.
He completely changed how linear algebra is taught. Instead of starting with abstract vector spaces and proofs, Strang began with something simple and visual: matrix multiplication. He built intuition first using concrete examples, then introduced more advanced ideas like eigenvectors and singular value decomposition. He insisted that students should be able to explain every concept with a small, tangible matrix before moving to theory.
Beyond the content, his teaching style stood out. He spoke to students with genuine respect, patience, and kindness, never using words like “obviously” or “trivially.” He regularly paused to check if anyone was lost and treated beginners as thoughtfully as he would his colleagues.
As a result, Strang became the default linear algebra teacher for much of the planet. Universities in many countries began recommending his lectures to their own students. Some even replaced their in-person courses with his videos because they could not match their clarity.
His final lecture ended with a long standing ovation. Strang seemed surprised by the applause, smiled humbly, and simply thanked everyone.
In his short comment under the YouTube video, he expressed gratitude for a wonderful life of teaching and hoped others would continue teaching the subject well. No self-promotion, no grand farewell—just quiet sincerity.
When you add up every version, every upload, help sessions, and all the different recordings MIT has shared over the years, the total has surpassed 20 million views.
Today, the full course, including all lectures, problem sets, and solutions, remains freely available on MIT OpenCourseWare. One of the most important mathematical foundations of modern AI is still just one click away.
This is Hope
She was found starving, locked in a cage, her body nothing but bones and pain.
No one came for her… until now.
She is finally safe, but she still needs us.
Medical care. Food. Soft beds. Love.
Please share her story and help if you can.
Hope deserves a real chance at life.
The 1993 Bombay bombings killed 257 people and injured more than 700 in 12 coordinated explosions on March 12, 1993, targeting sites across Mumbai .They were specifically planned by Dawood Ibrahim, his brother Anees and Abu Salem with other members of their network to take revenge for the Babri demolition.
On January 16, 1993, this PoS Nashedi was busy taking three AK-56 rifles, ammunition, a 9-mm pistol and hand grenades personally from the terrorists responsible for the killing of so many innocents - Dawood Ibrahims' brother Anees and Abu Salem
And he will teach the country about peace??!!
Effing dogs of Islamist terrorist mafia who killed thousands of innocent Indians - should keep their ugly traps shut and never dare to bring Shivji's name on their filthy lips.

The Shastras give us the principles of Dharma. They reveal what is to be pursued, what is to be avoided, how the mind is to be refined, and how the highest Truth is to be sought. Yet, for the sincere seeker, there remains an important question: What does all this look like when it becomes a living reality?
For this, one looks to the lives of Mahatmas—and especially to the illustrious Avichinna Guru Parampara of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham, where successive Jagadguru Shankaracharyas have embodied the timeless ideals of the Shastras through Their very lives and conduct.
For every sincere seeker, the life of a Mahatma is itself a source of guidance. Explore the many facets of Jivanmukta Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamigal in The Multifaceted Jivanmukta. Order here: https://t.co/VjAnW1XKKB
The Life of a Jivanmukta
Vedanta speaks of the one who has known the Self, who is no longer bound by the false identification with the limited individuality. To the ordinary seeker, such a state may appear far beyond comprehension.
Yet the life of a Jivanmukta gives us a glimpse of what inner freedom expresses as in the realm of conduct.
There is no need for self-assertion.
There is no contradiction between greatness and humility.
The higher the spiritual stature, the more natural the simplicity.
This is one of the most striking lessons found repeatedly in the lives of Sringeri Jagadgurus. Their greatness did not create distance from reverence; it deepened it. Their spiritual attainment did not make Guru Bhakti unnecessary; it revealed its fullest flowering. ahambrahmaasmi. org
A Jagadguru remains, before His own Guru, the ideal Sishya.
In this itself lies a message of immense significance.
If one established in the highest spiritual state could display such reverence, what should be the attitude of those of us who are still striving to discipline the mind and purify the heart?
On the sacred occasion of the Aradhana Mahotsava, may the boundless grace of Jivanmukta Jagadguru Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji illumine our hearts, open our eyes to wisdom, deepen our Guru Bhakti, and guide us steadfastly on the path of Dharma.

He drank, he smoke, he enjoyed his life but then why exactly is his birthday a “dry day”? I’m 😞 😞 😞
Did all the experiments and when it all turned out to be lies, he turned those into his “experiments with truth”
Ps - not that I drink or smoke 😳

Justin Idelle Moore beat a dog for six minutes on camera. Punches, kicks, stomps, and a drag, until the dog was dead, then dumped the body in the woods.
Athens, Georgia. A UGA police officer reviewing surveillance footage in August found the entire assault caught on camera near Sanford Stadium. The dog's body was later found dumped off River Road. A necropsy documented cuts, missing paw pads, missing fur, bruising, broken blood vessels in the eyes, blood in the mouth, and a possible severe neck injury.
Moore, 44, a convicted felon already banned from owning animals, was arrested on felony aggravated animal cruelty and released on $2,500 bond. Weeks later, Athens-Clarke County Animal Services went to retrieve three more dogs from him, one visibly limping. He's now banned from UGA's campus entirely.
Six minutes of camera footage is all it took to see exactly who he is. This isn't his first conviction involving a child in his care either.

We helped rescue the pony that was being dragged around South LA for months. The pony has pneumonia and might need a blood transfusion. The fact that this angel was being dragged to near death for so long with nobody stepping up to save her is proof on how numb LA has come to animal abuse.
Do these people live in an alternate universe with a different India than the one I grew up in?
When I was growing up in my “upper caste” home, our house helper was an Adivasi lady who didn’t even know her caste. She was like a second mother to me - for years I only ate food from her plate when she ate her meals & refused my Mom when she would try to feed me. Every time I scored well on an exam, my Mother would tell me me touch her feet and eat Mithai from her hands. Never once did caste ever come into the equation.
These losers are experts at making up total BS.
10 years ago, I walked into Ridglan and saw dogs going psychotic in a cage. People said it was impossible to save them all. But we did—with your help.
Now we face an even bigger problem: 40,000 dogs trapped in cages across the nation. But unlike 10 years ago, we may soon have federal policy to support us.
Rep. Mark Pocan just announced the COMPACT ACT, which would ban NIH funding on dog and cat experiments. And he will be joining a coalition call TONIGHT to give us advice on how we can support his effort—and save all the dogs.

Mahamahopadhyaya Dr. R. Krishnamurthi Shastrigal, one of the most respected Vedic scholars and Vedanta teachers, transcended his mortal coils.
Born in a family of Shastric learning, which continues to carry this baton, inspired and guided by him, Shastrigal has been a source of inspiration for countless people enthusiastic about studying the Shastras. He was born in 1944 to Brahmasri S. Rajagopala Ghanapatigal and Balambal in the village of Mullaivasal in Tanjore district.
Under his father’s guidance, he mastered the Krishna Yajur Veda at the young age of 14, a rare achievement, and joined the Madras Sanskrit College to continue his learning of the Shastras, where he studied Advaita Vedanta under Brahmasri S. R. Krishnamurthi Shastrigal and Brahmasri Polagam Rama Shastrigal. He was awarded a gold medal in the Vedanta Siromani examination, passed the Mimamsa Siromani, earned an M.A. in Literature from S.V. University, and received a doctorate from the University of Madras for research on the Istasiddhi-vivarana. ahambrahmaasmi. org
His career began in 1964 at the Vaideeswara Oriental School, Mettur, where he joined as a Sanskrit teacher. In 1973, he joined the Madras Sanskrit College as a lecturer in Vedanta, served for three years as Vice-Principal of the S.V. Vidya Kendra in Tirumala, and returned to his alma mater, the Madras Sanskrit College, as Professor of Advaita Vedanta. He became its Principal in 1999 and retired in 2003.
Shastrigal was honoured by the Acharyas of several Maths with titles including Vedabhasya-ratna, Sastra-ratnakara, Advaita-siddhi-ratnakara and Vedanta-visarada. The Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati, conferred on him the title of Mahamahopadhyaya, and in 2013, the President of India presented him with the Certificate of Honour for his service to Sanskrit.
Shastrigal was also the recipient of the blessings of successive Jagadguru Shankaracharyas of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, and participated on several occasions in the prestigious Sri Mahaganapati Vakyartha Vidwat Sadas held at Sringeri.
After his retirement, Shastrigal founded the Brahmavidya Bhavanam at his home, a traditional school for Veda, Vedabhasya and Vedanta, where he trained around thirty students in the Vedic commentarial tradition.
Mahamahopadhyaya Brahmasri Dr. Mani Dravida Shastriji, one of the greatest scholars of the Shastras of current times, has also studied under Shastrigal.
Shastrigal composed works in Tamil and Sanskrit, including Siddhanta-traya-sara, Vedanta-prashnottara-ratnamalika and Shastrartha-sumamanjari, and his lectures on the Brahma Sutras, Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita and the works of Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada are available online for learners everywhere.
Shastrigal was known above all for his clear and lively teaching. He made even dry and difficult topics accessible, and his lectures were full of wit and humour without any loss of rigour. His scholarship, humility and generosity as a teacher will be remembered by all who learned from him.
Several Vidwans of Aham Brahmaasmi Foundation have been tutored by him, and his scholarly excellence shines through them in the programmes conducted by this organisation, amongst several others.

Since city officials and the feds are not doing anything to prevent the widespread massacre and criminal enterprise on Skid Row, I’m going to be on Skid Row today doing my own investigation on who tried to murder this dog by burning her alive.
Three years. 💔
That’s how long Randy #LA3100 has been waiting for someone to see him and say, “You’re the one.”
Since January 2023, Randy has spent more time in a shelter than in a home. He’s a sensitive Shepherd mix who can be a little fearful when meeting new people, but with the right person and the right environment, we know there is so much more to Randy waiting to shine through.
Randy is looking for a quiet, low-traffic home where he can be the only pet. He’ll need someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him move at his own pace.
And after three years, we’re hoping his wait is finally coming to an end.
Randy doesn’t need a perfect person. He needs his person. Someone who will look past the nervousness, give him a chance, and show him what it feels like to finally have a home of his own. ❤️
Could you be the one Randy has been waiting for?
Come meet Randy at North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington, NY and give this sweet boy the chance he’s been waiting for.

Don’t lecture me about casteism in Mahabharata when you are the one who has never read either it or the Ramayana, but love to comment as if you are an expert just so you can demonize Hinduism.
First go read the Ramayana to see how much respect Shree Rama gave to Guha, of the niṣāda tribe. He was Rama’s childhood friend and described as dear to him as his own life.
In the Mahabharata too - Eklavya was a Royal prince of niṣāda tribe. The grand King Nala of Nala Damayanti fame was also royalty of niṣāda tribe.
Stop trying to peddle your nauseating casteist agenda on the basis of your utter ignorance about Hindu epics.
