@aki_playaxie Crypto security isn't just about protecting private keys.
The real challenge is securing everything around them -->wallet architecture, transaction validation, access controls, monitoring, and incident response.
One weak layer can compromise the whole system.
This is a good reminder that crypto security isn't only about protecting private keys.
Wallet architecture, backend systems, transaction validation, monitoring and incident response all matter.
Security is a system, not a single feature.
[SECURITY NOTICE] Bitget Hot Wallet Incident โ September 24, 2026
At 18:31 UTC on September 24, 2026, Bitget's security systems detected unauthorized transfers from some of our hot wallets. Our security team activated emergency response protocols immediately.
What we have confirmed:
-Estimated funds affected: approximately $351.6 million
-Cold wallets remain fully secure. Bitget operates a three-tier wallet architecture โ the breach contained only a portion of the hot wallet and warm wallet layers.
-User funds are safe. The full amount of this loss falls within the coverage of Bitget's User Protection Fund, which currently holds over $464 million
Actions we have taken:
-Emergency response team activated within minutes of detection
-Abnormal transfer addresses identified, flagged, and reported
-Withdrawals temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure, pending security review
-Law enforcement and on-chain security firms have been formally notified and are engaged
What this means for you:
-Your account balances are accurate and your assets are protected
-Deposits and trading remain fully operational
Withdrawals are temporarily paused and will be restored as soon as the security review is complete
-What comes next: We will provide updates on an hourly basis across this channel and all official platforms. A full incident report โ including root cause analysis and corrective actions โ will be published within 24 hours. We will not speculate on the attack vector until the investigation is complete.
Bitget has navigated multiple market cycles. We will not run from this. Every dollar and every decision will be accounted for, transparently and in full.
Updates will be posted here and across all official Bitget channels as they become available.

The next AI race might not be about who has the smartest model.
It might be about who can make powerful intelligence cheap, fast, and accessible enough to use everywhere.
1. We will keep accelerating. Our AI efforts are only 3 years old, vs 6 and 10 years old for Anthropic and OpenAI. If our second derivative remains strong, SpaceX will reach pole position in about 6 months.
2. Once you far exceed the caliber of intelligence needed for a class of tasks, additional intelligence is pointless. You donโt need (and it would be cruel to put) Newton-level intelligence in your toaster!
3. Hardware is hard. Bringing massive compute online rapidly is incredibly difficult. SpaceX has demonstrated exceptional ability in this regard and will only get better.
AI coding agents are getting better at writing code.
But the valuable skill is shifting from:
โCan you write the code?โ
to:
โCan you define what to build, what constraints matter, and how to verify it?โ
Writing code is becoming cheaper.
Good engineering judgment isnโt.
@P__radip 100% agree. AI can help you move faster, but understanding the code is what helps you move confidently. When production issues happen, โjust prompt it to fix thisโ isnโt enough. Build with AI, but understand what youโre building. Thatโs what scales in the long run.
Cursor is expanding beyond the editor.
Theyโve launched hosting with faster CI, GitHub conflict handling, and support for multiple AI agents.
Editor โ Agent โ Review โ Host
Feels like Cursor wants to own the entire development loop.

๐ PostgreSQL just got even more powerful!
With Property Graphs (SQL/PGQ), you can run graph queries directly on your existing relational tables using CREATE PROPERTY GRAPH, no separate graph database or data migration required.
Excited to see where this goes! ๐ฅ
๐ Biggest HTTP update in years: QUERY is now an official HTTP method (RFC 10008).
Safe and idempotent like GET, with support for request bodies in complex search operations.
๐ Vercel breach
An employee used https://t.co/lUtTHNgNG0 (which got hacked), attacker accessed their Google Workspace โ pivoted into Vercel โ exploited non-sensitive (unencrypted) env vars to go deeper.
