He was protesting in support of students, demanding the Education Minister's resignation and a discussion on NEET in Parliament. Why, then, is the government treating him like a criminal?

Male police officers were beating female protesters with batons. Women were also verbally abused. Is this what you call respect for women? Many people were struck on the head.

There is no place for violence in a democracy. The police resorted to a lathi charge before the march had even begun. The young man in the yellow shirt was beaten around 11 a.m. Tear gas was also fired at students simply because they were demanding the resignation of pradhan.
