Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
पिछले 10 मिनट में दस बार सुन चुका हूँ…

एक बार आप भी सुनिए फिर और लूप में डाल कर सुनते रहेंगे
Love you Wangnao Yato, Love you Nagaland 🇮🇳
President Trump's tariffs have made the US into a paragon of protectionism.
The result has been higher prices, weaker investment, fewer manufacturing jobs — and a willingness to make falsehood official policy in order to defend a failed economic creed.
My take:
I scored 96.5% in Class 12 and 750/800 in CUET, yet I couldn't get into my dream college, SRCC. I accepted that maybe I could have studied harder.
But when I joined college, I saw students admitted through reserved categories with CUET scores of around 500–600. That was the moment my blood boiled.
My family owns no property, no business nothing. We have struggled financially like countless others. Yet I was denied the same opportunity simply because I belong to the General Category, while candidates from reserved categories, despite being economically well off, still benefited from reservation.
From that day until today, I have continued to raise my voice against the reservation system and I will keep speaking up as long as I have your support. One day I will uproot this biased system from this country!
We are supposedly at war to stop Iran from enriching the uranium we “obliterated” over a year ago.
Yesterday we signed a deal to help Saudi Arabia enrich uranium.
The first time the United States has ever helped another country enrich uranium on foreign soil.
The Saudis refused the inspection protocol 140 other countries accept. Too intrusive, they said.
Trump agreed. He signed a national security waiver to get around the rule.
The Saudis paid Kushner $100 million. They put $2 billion into his firm. They put another $6 billion into LIV Golf, which pays Trump properties to host its tournaments. They signed ten billion dollars in Trump-branded real estate deals in Jeddah and Riyadh. All in just the last few years.
But sure. My paintings.
Over the past many years, I have taken a personal stand in support of the NEET examination, arguing that it brought uniformity in student selection across the country and gave students from underprivileged backgrounds a real shot at pursuing their dream of medical education. In the last 5 years, the NEET UG question paper has leaked thrice. Imagine the amount of pressure that it puts on students, who had to go through the examination process yet another time when the system that was supposed to bring in uniformity was failing. Yet there was no accountability, and I believe strongly that it was that moment that brought in a shift in the minds of the students to take to the streets to cry their hearts out.
Protest is a fundamental right in a Democracy. The pertinent question, however, is this: why did the BJP-led Central Government take so long to initiate a dialogue with the protestors? Why was meaningful engagement delayed until the protest had escalated to a flashpoint? What kept you waiting?
The students and the people who are leading them also have a responsibility here. It is natural that when a protest stays on for weeks, people with vested interests will take the stage to air views that are either completely irrelevant to the initial demands of the protests or would try to completely hijack it to serve their agenda. If you remain silent and let these people with vested interests further their agenda, then you are deviating from your core objectives. Please do not let it happen!
I urge the BJP-led Central Government to engage in meaningful dialogue, uphold transparency, and take swift, appropriate action to address the concerns at hand. The strength of any nation lies in the confidence its youth place in its institutions. If our students lose faith in the fairness and credibility of our education system, we are jeopardising the future of our nation.
This is massive from Italian PM Meloni 🔥
🇮🇷Meloni: "I will never cut hospital funding to buy tanks. We are not closing hospitals or slashing the health budget for weapons. That’s ridiculous."🔥🔥
She Shot directly at Trump after he moved healthcare money to fund the war 👏
Currently Meloni is the Best Leader in Europe 🔥
We are not a political organisation, but naturally we have a manifesto, and we think global not local:
1. All 12 Test teams must play each other in 3 match series in the World Test Championship over a 4 year period, home and away.
2. Minimum boundary lengths of 70 metres should be enforced in all international cricket.
3. Women's Test cricket should be significantly expanded and played over 5 days.
4. Coalitions of nations should be owed to play together e.g. the Nordics, as the WI already do.
5. The ICC should provide funding to those nations seeking associate membership.
6. Profits from T20 cricket need to be better redistributed to enable players to play Test correct with high wages.
7. Bowlers should be allowed one leg-side delivery an over in short form cricket.
8. The number of teams in the T20/ODI World Cups should be further expanded.
9. 'Bad light stopped play' should be abolished unless the ball literally cannot be seen.
10. The 'spirit of cricket' should be regarded as a drink, not a moral mantra.
We can confirm that we don't wish to add Gautam Gambhir to our coaching staff. He clearly has talent, though. To take those Indian players and deliver those results in Ireland takes truly remarkable gifts.
His name is Karimul Haque.
He works in the tea gardens of Jalpaiguri in West Bengal.
His parents were farm labourers. He left school after about Class 3 and spent most of his life taking odd jobs to survive.
Money was always scarce.
In 1995, his mother suffered a heart attack at home.
Karimul ran from door to door looking for a vehicle to take her to hospital. There was no ambulance anywhere near the village.
She died before he could get her help.
The loss stayed with him.
A few years later, a fellow tea garden worker collapsed in the field. Once again, no ambulance could reach them in time.
Karimul tied the man to his back, seated him on his motorcycle, and raced him to hospital.
The man survived.
That was the day an idea became a mission.
Karimul turned his motorcycle into an ambulance.
For more than two decades, he has carried sick and injured people from around twenty villages to hospitals, free of charge, at any hour of the day or night.
He taught himself basic first aid. He set aside part of his small salary for fuel. On a corner of his own land, he even built a small space where villagers could receive basic health checkups.
He never charged a rupee.
Over the years, he is said to have helped save thousands of lives.
In 2017, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri.
Earlier this year, Karimul himself needed medical help and had a pacemaker fitted.
Within days, he was speaking about returning to work, because there were still patients who might need a ride to the hospital.
A man who could not save his own mother spent the rest of his life making sure other families did not lose theirs.
Follow for stories India deserves to remember.
I welcome the understanding reached between the United States and Iran on ending the conflict in West Asia, which has caused serious economic disruption across the world and led to loss of life in many countries.
India hopes that the implementation of this understanding will help restore peace and stability in the region and ensure the freedom of navigation and commerce.
We look forward to deliberations on the remaining issues reaching a sustainable final agreement.
