@davidpattersonx I’m not convinced that AI will replace jobs. The advanced AI technology we are heading towards requires chips, data centers, engineers, operators, security, infrastructure and new businesses. The technology creates demand even beyond the software itself.

@adampnathan Dubai and Emirates almost became a shared growth story. As the city became more attractive, the airline expanded its reach, and that reach made Dubai even more accessible to people around the world.

@emollick People barely have one fixed opinion about AI. They may welcome it in productivity, question it in education and worry about it in employment. The context is changing their conversations.

@Henryf1w We’re probably still too early to name the thing after AI. Because electricity didn’t get replaced by something called post-electricity. It became infrastructure. AI could follow the same path.

@GaryMarcus I see it very differently. Generative AI is still early, and judging its long-term value from today’s limitations can be premature. We should improve how we use it, not dismiss its potential.

@Codie_Sanchez And this is why I always say AI isn’t here to replace humans. It eliminates the boring work, adds enormous value, and gives us more time to create and innovate.

@PeterDiamandis Yes, the cost of not learning has changed with the technology advancements we're heading towards. Now staying curious is just another name of staying relevant.

@binarybits @chi_t_williams These all just make great videos but reliable physical work is a tough challenge. I agree that Robotics is advancing rapidly, but I don't believe they can manage unpredictable real-world work as humans do with a lot of judgement.

@Codie_Sanchez I agree, even I've seen very smart people change direction too soon, a lot actually. The idea was fine, it's just that they never gave that idea good time to become good.

@APompliano What I believe is AI & robotics is becoming important where labour shortages are pushing costs higher. If businesses can automate repetitive work, then they can increase output without passing additional cost to customers.

@Codie_Sanchez Agreed. The transition is from generalists to specialists. The first one help you survive the early chaos, but eventually the business needs specialists who can own one skill very well.

@emollick That’s what I find interesting too. Industrialisation changed how people thought about labour and ownership, Now AI can force us to rethink what work and productivity even mean.

Dubai certified the world’s first purpose-built commercial vertiport. The 1st thing that came to mind as someone working in real estate: a location’s value may soon be measured in min saved if an air taxi can take you to places in ~10 min.

Dubai’s property map will be reshaped.
