There's a clear pattern of inflating repair estimates, frequently citing superfluous parts or service needs. Yet, the actual work performed consistently falls far short of the inflated costs.

For illustration, customers are reportedly receiving only 25-30% of the promised services for every 100% charged. This blatant discrepancy erodes customer trust and severely compromises the brand's credibility.

Compounding these issues is the company's egregious failure to address customer grievances in a timely manner, even when provided with comprehensive details. When even the CEO Escalation Desk and the National Service Head remain unresponsive to legitimate complaints, it signals a deliberate disregard for aggrieved customers and an implicit endorsement of the unethical practices pervasive within Hyundai's authorized service network.

Such practices effectively render the investment in a Hyundai vehicle worthless. Hyundai India's persistent failure to resolve customer concerns and its tacit acceptance of its authorized service network's malpractices are irrevocably damaging its reputation.

Consequently, I have unequivocally decided against purchasing a Hyundai car and will actively dissuade others from considering the brand. The substantial investment in a Hyundai vehicle is rendered futile by the company's abysmal customer service and pervasive fraudulent practices.

🚨 This issue has political, social, and economic dimensions. Therefore, it should be discussed on the basis of facts and realities, not emotions.

📌 Where did the problem begin?
➡️ The culture of illegally occupying railway land, government land, portions of roads, and footpaths in Kolkata and its suburbs for commercial use began to take an institutional shape during the CPI(M) era.

What initially operated through political patronage gradually evolved into a lucrative and systematic extortion-based ecosystem.

⚠️ However, the realities of the time were also harsh.
• The government failed to generate adequate employment.
• Industrialization stagnated.
• People's incomes declined.
• The struggle for survival intensified.

⛳️ It was this economic distress and uncertainty that enabled the expansion of illegal encroachments.

🔄 What happened next?
The Trinamool Congress government further institutionalized and commercialized this system. @AITCofficial

👉 Government land, roads, and footpaths effectively began to be "auctioned" in exchange for one-time and weekly collections.
The consequences are visible today:

When a new government comes to power, it is natural for it to adopt a stricter approach to land reforms and land management.
At the same time, it is equally true that—
❌ Illegal occupation of public land cannot later become the basis for demanding unconditional rehabilitation funded by taxpayers. ❌ "I am poor, therefore I can break the law indefinitely" cannot be accepted as a principle or an alibi.

⚖️ What is needed is a balance between firmness and compassion.
Here are some proposals:

1️⃣ Region-wise Survey
📌 Conduct open meetings involving all hawkers. 📌 Discussions should be held directly with hawkers, not merely with a handful of leaders or intermediaries.

2️⃣ A Clear Definition of "Hawker"
📌 A hawker means a mobile street vendor.
A hawker does not mean:
❌ Permanent structures
❌ Sheds
❌ Concrete constructions
❌ Permanent occupation of public land

3️⃣ Prioritization Framework
Within a fixed timeframe, verify:
📋 How long a person has been conducting business
📋 Their age
📋 Whether they have alternative sources of income
Long-serving and elderly vendors should receive priority consideration.

4️⃣ Kiosk Model Near Railway Areas
📌 In locations involving railway land, licensed kiosks can be introduced for affordable food and essential goods.
This would ensure:
✅ Legal business opportunities for vendors
✅ Increased railway revenue
✅ Tax collection
✅ Better order and regulation

5️⃣ Repurposing Government Assets
Whether it is the encroached permanent structures at Galiff Street or government-owned commercial properties that were originally built for business purposes, such as the premises now functioning as Nabanna—
📌 Such public assets can be recovered and gradually redeveloped into legitimate commercial centers.

6️⃣ Low-Interest Credit and Mobile Vending
Through cooperative societies or the Mudra Yojana:
💰 Low-interest or interest-free loans
🚚 Mobile vending vehicles
📅 Installment-based financing and repayment mechanisms
can be introduced.
At the same time, strict enforcement must ensure that:

How do you define that? Even if the premise holds true, its applicability to Shri Sajal Ghosh remains questionable. He tirelessly campaigned, traversing door-to-door, lane-to-street, pleading for "one chance" for himself and the BJP this election.

Consider the post-result scenario: if he becomes a mere figurehead, his publicly shared contact unreachable, and his public engagement confined to less than handful of party events, what then? Would we dismiss it as "not an MLA's job to solve everyday issues"?

This offers little justification. Baranagar grapples with subpar administration, corrupt and inept municipal governance, and political high-handedness. Who will address these critical issues if the elected MLA remains aloof? It is imperative for him to engage with every locality, to genuinely understand their challenges, thereby enabling the formulation and execution of comprehensive yet tailored solutions.

Voters cast their ballots for the BJP, fueled by the hope of robust governance and the promise of a "Double Engine" government. Otherwise, the BJP's is so weak in the region that, they even failed to provide voter slips, a service consistently offered by the CPIM in every election. There was no Booth Level Agent from the BJP either. Therefore, did organizational prowess truly secure BJP's victory? The unequivocal answer is NO.

Thus far, in addressing critical issues like petrol and diesel prices, the double engine government has already fallen short, did not reduce state tax which they regularly demanded during TMC regime. Justified too. Therefore, refrain from overt sycophancy, and instead, propose rational solutions.

একজন আর্থিক ভাবে সক্ষম, শক্তিশালী ব্যক্তিকে সাধারণের করের টাকায় এইভাবে নগদ বিতরণ, শুধু মাত্র ভোটব্যাংকের রাজনীতি বাদে কিছুই নয়। এক্ষেত্রে gender কোন parameter হতে পারে না।
