And now after nana nani also, the tradition somehow continues where we have lunch dawat at Mamu’s home every Eid. I cant do it because my in laws home is thousands of kms away so we spend 1 Eid at in laws and 1 at my place. Alhamdulillah

Same, Alhamdulillah. My father always made sure that we visit nana’s place after Eid salah, and it’s a custom for us to have lunch dawat over there and then get back to our home. He always used to say to mummy ki amma papa ko salaam karwa laate hain pehle..

I love how its so normal in my family for the married couples to spend half a day of Eid with family and then other half of the day with the in laws. Mutual respect for both sides as it should be. I know a lot of girls complain this isn’t the case for them and thats so sad tbh

I find it so disappointing that even the most educated people see a politician being questioned by the member of the press as disrespectful and humiliating and then speak of democracy. He doesn't automatically deserve respect everywhere he goes. Just like Trump doesn't. Your actions decide whether people respect you or not. The PM's chair and office has been disrespected by the man himself on several ocassions. The office has been diminished by him internationally now that we, a country of 1.4 billion people take instructions from Trump and the man refuses to be accountable or empathetic one diaster after another. We are not a functioning democracy anymore, in case you missed that part.
