@artee_49 Pretty poorly, I imagine. The tech company I just left was fully AI-pilled and the # of incidents was sky rocketing.
Worse - no one wanted to take accountability for them, because shipping new crap was incentivized over owning and maintaining systems (even more than before).
@ItsGamerDoc Nice work.
Y'all killing the low ELO throwing bots yet? Often Sona/Sorakas.
I haven't played much this year but my friends and I were getting pissed at those. They seemed like they'd be easy to detect.
@dejavucoder Yeah, the latter has been an issue for years and is a simple product decision. Just tune down the ads to make the product bearable again.
Google search is the epitome of enshittification
@garrytan Having a great idea, excellent execution, and getting lucky. Luck can be substituted by being a part of a focal point, like YC or investment from Sequoia
@chetanankola@kindgracekind Sure. You decide to get a hamster instead of a dog (more interesting but less self sufficient).
Roll RNG (range 0-1). If it gives >0.99, congrats you are now the proud owner of a puppy.
What a case study of systemic risk with CrowdStrike outage... that a few bits in the wrong place can brick ~1 billion computers and all the 2nd, 3rd order effects of it. What other single points of instantaneous failure exist in the technosphere and how do we design against it.
