I always tell my friends that the hate Black Americans show toward Africans online is honestly worse than what we experience from white people.
That guy was not mocking Black Americans. He was simply creating his content. Yet because of something one person did, people in the comments are now using it to generalize and judge an entire continent. How is that fair?
Imagine a white account posted something about a Black American doing something wrong. You would immediately see people in the comments saying, โThatโs just one person. Donโt generalize all Black Americans.โ And rightly so.
But when it comes to Africans, suddenly one personโs actions are used to justify insults against millions of people across an entire continent. I looked through that comment section and honestly just shook my head.
He wasnโt mocking you. Stop taking everything as an attack. We are all Black people, and there is no reason to constantly turn these things into Africans vs. Black Americans.
Brooooooo, Neverrrrr look desperate in life. Remain calm during hard times. Understand it's just your time to suffer like every great man before you. You're a man.
