Actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, known for his roles as Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat (1995), Nobusuke Tagomi in The Man in the High Castle, and Chang in The Last Emperor (1987), has passed away at 75.
Burbank High’s Ogden Lucsik is going to be alumni still representing the school more than a week after graduation. He has qualified for the state meet in the pole vault. Cleared 15 feet, 8 inches. One of just four in the entire CIF Southern Section.
In 2001, the Burbank Phil partnered with the Hennings-Fischer Foundation to launch its first annual “Young Artist Competition.” The competition drew competitors from all over the nation starting in its first year and has continued to gain momentum ever
