Meet the @successcollab! We are a Rhode Island-based collaborative of clinicians/researchers who are on a mission to advance knowledge at the intersection of psychology and child-serving systems, such as the juvenile legal and child welfare systems
Excited to announce my promotion from Clinical Instructor to Clinical Assistant Professor! 📣
Sad to announce “True Crime Enthusiast” no longer fits in my bio ugh
Check out the new open access article from the @successcollab! This project spanned approximately 5 years and has some really promising findings that have important implications for children involved in #childwelfare

We think these outcomes should be of interest to mental health researchers and policymakers alike, given the power to impact child welfare-involved youth!

🚨NEW PUB🚨
We examined whether permanency outcomes among child welfare-involved youth could be impacted by a comprehensive trauma-focused court-based evaluation
@CModrowski@MiyahGrant@CollibeePhD@kaitlin_sheerin
https://t.co/s2HP3ahwoS
The results indicated that youth who were randomized to receive an evaluation were more likely to have their case closed and achieved permanency more quickly as compared to youth receiving usual child welfare services
Interested in how to assess for outcomes beyond recidivism in interventions research focused on youth with juvenile legal system involvement?
Check out this paper by @kaitlin_sheerin and Kathleen Kemp w/ tables of measures and how to access them
