@balogarithms@pastortonye1@m_eyit Again you referenced Jn 17:3. What about verse two. John 17:2 AMPC
[2] [Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him.
@balogarithms@pastortonye1@m_eyit Show me from scripture examples of people who came from believing to unbelieve. The Holy Spirit is always at work in the believer perfecting him. I think we are missing the meaning for the word believe.
@balogarithms@pastortonye1@m_eyit They never believed, and they perish because of that unbelieve. If people can believe in Jesus and they still miss eternal life then why did Jesus die? And animal sacrifice was valuable enough to keep someone for a whole year yet the blood and sacrifice of Jesus cannot?
@balogarithms@pastortonye1@m_eyit Thank you for your honest answer. I agree with you. Now read John 3.16. So they perished because of their unbelievable which is the rejection of the free gift of God.
@joelraymond299@m_eyit This is where most people get it wrong. Once you believe, the Holy Spirit comes to indwell you. That spirit changes you from the inside. God gradually works out perfection in You. Just as the prodigal son, He will always guide you home.
