Last one from me this week - ZEE5's Brown is a been-there-done-that whodunnit that struggles to be greater than the sum of its tropes. Reviewed it here

This is a far from flattering profile. Almost hilariously so. This certainly doesn't sound like Netflix cares about making good movies.

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is pretty tragic.
An unfunny, irritating blue of nothing. Too long have we been forgiving of this 'brand' of 'enthu' Varun Dhawan. I've always maintained I'm a fan. At this point, Iโm just struggling to remember why.

In Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Varun Dhawan makes a Bhediya joke - inadvertently reminding us all of the last time he was actually enjoyable to watch on screen.
#MaaBehen didn't quite work for me. Lots to admire & be charmed by in a film you absolutely want to root for. But it doesn't quite live up to its playful potential. A curious, sincere drama about female rage & rebellion packaged as an unexciting thriller.

"But Maa Behen, written by Pooja Tolani and directed by Suresh Triveni, is not most movies. Itโs unlike anything Iโve seen in recent memory, and I mean that in the best way possible"
Maa Behen is one of the better Netflix films I've watched. Big swings, clever writing, inventive design and performances. Enjoyed it a lot.

I loved putting this together for @whatonnetflix. Found plenty of surprises - and Radhika Apte, of course. "Which Star Has the Most Appearances in Netflix India Originals? The Top 10 Actors Ranked": https://t.co/73rphnGlMW
Really liked "Made In India: A Titan Story". Great cast, solid old-school storytelling, resists a corporate tone. One of the better Indian shows this year.

There are four Hindi streaming shows and one streaming film releasing this Week alone. Someone look at how this makes zero sense, if atleast from a marketing perspective.
#MadeInIndiaATitanStory is an absolute delight. A show about a watchmaking company has no business being this heartfelt. Check out @suchin545's review of the series here.
