#CallItOut#CultureWins
What's easy doesn't lead to success.
What's convenient doesn't lead to winning.
What's comfortable doesn't lead to championships.
If you want to separate yourself from the competition,
DO THE HARD,
INCONVENIENT, and
UNCOMFORTABLE THINGS
on a regular basis.

Five things that mature athletes do:
1. Show up on time.
2. Work hard in school.
3. Take care of their bodies.
4. Stay out of trouble.
5. Treat others with respect.
@MHSAA how can you justify raising admission through the playoffs $5.00 regular season, $7.00 for district, and now $9.00 for regional. Seriously, WOW!!!
It doesn’t matter if you started last year or last month! No spot is promised. If somebody comes back from the off season & is a better player, a harder worker, more dedicated, they can/will take your spot. Playing time is earned everyday in practice. Hard work is the separator!
5 Life Lessons to Teach Kids:
1. Integrity
Right is right. Wrong is wrong.
2. Respect
Treat people the way they want to be treated.
3. Attitude
Stay positive and positive things will happen.
4. Effort
Do your best and forget the rest.
5. Grit
Keep going. Keep growing.
Being an athlete means more responsibilities:
*Clean social media
*Academic performance
*Huge time commitment
*Eating right
Being an athlete means more opportunities:
*Teammates and friendships
*Networking and career opportunities
*Life skills
*Travel and meals
*Scholarships
Great players have a chip on their shoulder.
They give their best every day and they expect the best from their teammates. They simply don’t accept average or mediocre.
Great players change the standard as they push, inspire and encourage everyone around them.
Successful athletes must have & maintain high performance habits. That means eating to fuel an athlete body, getting enough rest, plenty of water & preparing your mind & body for peak performance. It’s not a day here & a day there. It’s not a “sometimes” thing. It’s a lifestyle!
5 Reasons to Be All In:
1. Nothing worth having comes easy.
2. You don't want to let your teammates and coaches down.
3. You represent yourself, your family, and your community.
4. The pain of regret is far worse than the pain of discipline.
5. Your legacy depends on it.
