राजधानी दिल्ली के न्यू फ्रेंड्स कॉलोनी से एक बड़ी खबर सामने आ रही है।

न्यू फ्रेंड्स कॉलोनी के डी-ब्लॉक, एग्जिट गेट नंबर-2 के पास सड़क और सीवर की हालत बेहद खराब बनी हुई है। स्थानीय निवासियों का कहना है कि उन्होंने दिल्ली जल बोर्ड (Delhi Jal Board) और एमसीडी से कई बार शिकायत की, लेकिन अब तक कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं हुई है।

कॉलोनी की सड़कों पर सीवर का पानी बह रहा है, जिससे न सिर्फ स्वच्छता व्यवस्था चरमरा गई है, बल्कि लोगों के स्वास्थ्य पर भी गंभीर खतरा मंडरा रहा है।

स्थिति इतनी खराब है कि यह गंदा पानी वाहनों के टायरों के जरिए पूरे इलाके में फैल रहा ��ै, जिससे दुर्घटना का खतरा काफी बढ़ गया है। आशंका जताई जा रही है कि अगर जल्द सुधार नहीं हुआ, तो किसी बड़े हादसे से इंकार नहीं किया जा स��ता।

इसके साथ ही डेंगू जैसी वेक्टर जनित बीमारियों के फैलने का खतरा भी बढ़ता जा रहा है।

सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि राजधानी के एक पॉश इलाके में भी यदि दिल्ली जल बोर्ड और एमसीडी/एनडीएमसी शिकायतों पर कार्रवाई नहीं करते, तो यह व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े करता है।

फिलहाल, देखना होगा कि प्रशासन कब तक जागता है और स्थानीय लोगों को इस समस्या से राहत मिलती है।
