The 50s is the worst phase ever in life. You know that in just a couple of years you will be entering the senior citizens league.

Now even if you try coping saying age is just a number, the world doesn't allow you to.

Companies believe you are over the hill, too old to learn new skills. Even if you still have the energy and enthusiasm, why bother when you would retire anyway.

And if you have a job, you get the rap for every small mistake. You are a senior employee couldn't you see it coming or what is common refrain.

You don't have any friends, your old school, college friends are scattered all over, just the occasional Good Morning over WhatsApp. You have those occasional meetups but you see everyone drifted apart.

Your kids are grown up, leading their own lives, they see you as just a provider nothing more, nothing less.

Beyond all those Happy Family pics on FB, Instagram is an empty, lonely world.

Your younger generations curse you as the cause of all their problems right from not able to get a job to get laid to being unable to pee.

At social gatherings, functions you are reminded of your age. There is some kinda invisible ice wall. Even if you try interacting , you find you are out of touch.

And for those who turned 50 this decade it's a double whammy. Living in the worst possible decade where there is a total societal collapse, where values like empathy, decency, dignity have no meaning, where it's considered fine to cheat, steal to win, where relationships have no meaning.

A woman has the right to reside in the shared household, regardless of ownership.
“Shared household” means:
A house where she lives or has lived with her husband/partner.
It can be owned by husband, in-laws, or rented.
She cannot be evicted without due legal process.

👉 Even if the house is not in her name, she can claim residence rights.

🔹 Residence Orders – Section 19

Court can pass orders like:

Restraining the respondent from dispossessing her
Directing the respondent to remove himself from the house
Preventing entry into certain parts of the house
Arranging alternative accommodation or rent

🔹 Shelter Home – Section 6

If a woman is in danger or homeless, she can request shelter.
The Magistrate or Protection Officer can direct her to a shelter home.
Shelter homes must provide accommodation when requested under the Act.

Serving army officer argues own divorce case before Supreme Court:

Wife: I am not here against divorce (divorce has already been granted). I am challenging the remarks and findings on cruelty and desertion made against me by the family court and high court. They may be expunged.

Husband: I had to fight 10 years to get my parents’ name out, my sister’s name out and my name out from the allegations she had made against me and now she wants that they be omitted. Please see the allegations which were put on me. First allegation, trying to convert her religion, trying to murder her, sexual determination and gender bias, pressurising her to terminate pregnancy, harassment for dowry, demanding dowry, stalking, threatening with weapon… I had to fight 10 years to get my name cleared from this. Till date they have taken out about 57 lakhs from me.

Court: they have taken out means what? It’s according to the family court’s order.

Husband: in another matter they have to return 11.7 lakhs to me.

Court: that’s a different matter, you have got recourse to the courts for that.

Husband: the maintenance which they have taken from me is on a false affidavit. They have misled the family court. She has filed two contradicting affidavits.

Court: contradicting doesn’t mean that it’s false.

Court: What were the allegations in the divorce suit?

Wife: cruelty in terms of not staying with him in his place of work, desertion that I did not go with my daughter to his house and instead I went to my parents’ house. I wanted to open my dental clinic in Ahmedabad has been used against me. Saying that I don’t want to join my husband in his place of work, knowing that he’s an army man.

Court: yes, wife having own work, there’s nothing wrong with that.

Court to husband: are you standing the risk of getting this judgement of high court reversed? [the judgement which had granted divorce based on wife’s cruelty]. We don’t think a single allegation in your petition amounts to cruelty, if you seek our opinion. Do you want to take that risk?

Husband: the charges that were put on me…

Court: let things be over. Forget about the past and move on. That’s more advisable for you.

Husband: it took me 10 years to get my name cleared from the charges which she had put against me.

Court: you also dragged her here till Supreme Court. (The husband has filed a perjury case against the wife for the alleged contradictory affidavits)

The court ultimately reserved its order in the case.

She was willing to convert to Islam and wear a *burqa* in order to marry him (*Nikah*), but the young man was afraid of CM Yogi and kept making excuses to avoid doing so.
Her mother, too, supported her daughter's happiness and wished for her to marry the young Muslim man.

Meanwhile, last Friday, the young woman and her mother arrived at the young man's home wearing burqas. They proposed calling a *Maulvi* (cleric) to have the *Kalma* recited and to formalize the religious conversion.

In response, the young man cited the current political climate under the Yogi government, arguing that the authorities were enforcing strict measures and suggesting that they wait until the following year, after which he would agree to marry her.

However, the young woman and her mother continued to pressure him to go ahead with the marriage immediately.
Reacting angrily to this, the young man stormed out of the house and switched off his mobile phone; consequently, both the mother and daughter returned to their room in despair.

Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal thought he is an AAP politician who can lie and get away.

Lenskart has a dressing policy where you can’t wear a Bindi or Kalava but most likely they won’t have an issue if you come with AK 47 and RDX strapped on you body as that’s DEI friendly in their own perverse way.

When a company employee shared their discriminatory HR policy, their CEO first lied that’s it’s inaccurate.

When community notes proved that it’s not fake, he lied that it’s old document (Feb 26th ka hai) and not recent one.

When again exposed by employees he again lied that it’s internal training document which was never implemented but didn’t tell how it even got passed at any level.

Employees have said it was practiced at their premises and it was their HR policy.

An employee was sacked for raising concern about this discrimination and another employee has come out saying their HR was putting negative remarks on a branch staff for wearing Kalava while other religions could come in anything.

It’s a public listed company and its CEO lying and trying to spread fakery is simply taking it too far.
